Nike: SNKRS Showcase

SNKRS Showcase

SNKRS Showcase is a new SNKRS Live series revealing never-before-seen upcoming drops by Nike — before a third-party website or unverified leak has the chance. From the future of Air Max to ACG & well-known classics, the debut episode of SNKRS Showcase brought consumers a first look at a wide variety of upcoming drops with an unveiling of over 40 releases for 2024 through a visual press release.

SNKRS tapped SSS for creative & production services, including conceptualizing the franchise, visual identity development, set design, animation, product photography, talent management, music production, and live-stream execution.

We designed the visual identity for the new series, producing a full package of in-stream, on-app graphics alongside continually updating visuals for the set’s LED wall. The idea of revealing classified documents informed the identity and logo. The team even created a mascot for the series dubbed the “File Guy.”

We produced the stream, as well as built several bespoke set pieces. We tapped Brandon 'Jinx' Jenkins, a creative, journalist, TV host, award-winning podcast host, writer, photographer, and DJ as the host for the stream, who brought essential cultural knowledge and a nuanced appreciation for the lineup of releases.
